For those who did not know, this is the start of the day physician :
In America, Doctor's Day was declared in the Medical Congress met in Dallas (Texas) in 1933, in honor of the birth of Dr. Juan Carlos Finlay, a physician researcher Born in Port au Prince - Cuba in 1833, and who confirmed the theory of "The spread of yellow fever by the mosquito," presented at the Academy of Sciences of Havana on August 14, 1881, opening a path medical progress in tropical America. In fact, he discovered that yellow fever was transmitted by the bite of the mosquito Aedes aegypti and invented a sure cure for the disease.

This facilitated the evolution of the construction of the Panama Canal because many workers were dying of this disease. Hippocrates
early V century BC wrote an oath that defines the origin and basis of the medical profession. This day serves to reflect and think about what can be improved and that should not change on the development of medical activity daily.

Congratulations to all the doctors, the real ones, who walk in white coats, which are smeared, those who care about their patients, not the doctor tell them to go just to tie in an office! fans
